Founder & president

Caroline Leitten

Caroline first traveled to Iquitos, Peru in 2014 on a ten day short-term trip to serve at a home for abandoned boys. She was forever changed after that encounter as her heart was burdened by the orphan crisis. Caroline moved to Peru full time in 2019 to advocate for this mission, served within several homes for abandoned boys within this city and then founded Go Love in 2021 as a life-time response and dedication to this mission and calling.

executive director

Nick Leitten

Nick traveled to Iquitos, Peru in 2018 on a ten day short-term trip to serve at an orphanage. Nick became passionate about this cause and began advocating for abandoned boys in Peru. He returned in the summer of 2019 for another short-term trip. Shortly after his marriage to Caroline in September of 2020, he walked away from the corporate world to pursue his passion for abandoned children and discipleship.

Financial Stewardship & Program Oversight

Sean Marvin

Sean has been a manager at Microsoft for 25 years, served within mission based organizations and committees, and held various leadership and management roles. After being involved with international missions for many years, Sean discovered his passion investing in and transforming the lives of abandoned boys in Iquitos. He serves in this capacity to ensure that our finances are managed with integrity and full transparency as promised to our donors.

Stacey Donahue

Stacey Donahue joined the Go Love Peru Board of Directors in 2025 after serving as a Squad member since 2022. Inspired by the story of a sibling group now thriving in Go Love’s care, she is passionate about supporting the organization’s mission to provide family-styled, holistic care for abandoned children. In 2024, Stacey traveled to Iquitos, Peru, with her husband and daughter to serve on a mission trip and meet the children supported by Go Love.

Team Development & Leadership

Joey Donahue

Joey was introduced to GoLove in 2022 and was inspired by the organization after attending an event the following year, where he connected with its mission and values. In 2024, he traveled with his wife and daughter to Iquitos, Peru, spending an unforgettable week with the children there. The experience left a lasting impression, and Joey has been fully committed to GoLove ever since.

Risk Managment & Ethical Leadership

Tad Red

My wife, Melissa, and I have supported numerous mission organizations over the years, but Go Love holds a special place in our hearts. The transformative hope and love they pour into these kiddos is truly incredible. As a board member, I will strive to use my background in Risk Management and Ethical Leadership to make sure Go Love is both protected and empowered to continue its impactful, God-led mission in Iquitos.
